The basic device used in Orthodontic treatments is orthodontic appliances. Thanks to these devices, which are separated from each other as fixed and removable appliances, alignment disorders in teeth can be treated.
Fixed appliances are adhered to the inner or outer surface of the teeth, and in this way, the teeth in the wrong position on the bone are allowed to move in the desired direction. Fixed appliances are commonly known as braces.
The braces stay adhered to the teeth until the person has the right alignment. However, during the visits at regular intervals according to the movement of the teeth, adjustments are made on the braces if the specialist deems it necessary.
